ICCC™

Identity, Certification, Competence, Compliance — our assurance architecture.

ICCC™ — Assurance Architecture

ICCC™ is UNIT8D's assurance architecture that verifies readiness through four pillars:

Pillar Question Evidence
Identity Who are they? Identity documents, right-to-work
Certification What formal evidence do they hold? Qualifications, certifications, cards
Competence Can they actually perform the role safely? Assessment, experience, references
Compliance Are all legal and client requirements met? Legal, contractual, site requirements

Certification alone is not competence.
We assess both.

Why ICCC™ Matters

ICCC™ in Practice

ICCC™ is applied to every person we supply or deploy:

Stage Activity
Identity Verify identity documents and right-to-work
Certification Verify qualifications, certifications, cards
Competence Assess knowledge, skill, experience, behaviour
Compliance Confirm legal, contractual, site requirements

Certification vs Competence

Certification Competence
Formal evidence of training or qualification Demonstrated ability to perform the role safely
Issued by an authorised body Assessed through evidence, experience, and assessment
May be necessary but not sufficient The deciding factor in safe deployment

Certification shows you've trained. Competence shows you can do it safely. We require both.
